My specialty area is hazardous area electrical applications where I have over 20 years of direct experience. This includes product development, international certification, commissioning, and standards interpretation. I have also worked extensively with acquisition systems, display terminals, sensors, offshore cabins, and marine installations. My services provide customized technical or management support tailored to your needs for engineering or manufacturing projects including related training and documentation. Overall Experience:

Held a variety of technical and management positions over a 33 year engineering career including a 21-year tenure with Schlumberger Oilfield Services. Led both engineering and manufacturing projects. Was the system architect of major acquisition systems with over 700 manufactured and put into service. Developed and certified specialized hazardous area sensors and display terminals. Built and commissioned over 125 skid-mounted equipment cabins at multiple international suppliers. Active committee author of ANSI/ISA national safety standards for hazardous area equipment. Member of ISA, IEEE, and IADC. Industry references available.
