Custom development of sensors to accomplish all types of measurements including pressure, distance, tension, gas detection, level, flow, temperature, rotation, etc, Commercial device selection, vendor development, international certification coordination, and manufacturing start-up support.
Experience:
Developed specialized hazardous area intrinsically-safe sensor designs for offshore use including shaft encoders, tensiometers, linear wire transducers, and dynamic pressure measurement devices. Managed the international certification process, worked extensively with flame-ionization-detectors (FID) and other gas detectors, procured and certified commercial devices, and planned next generation intrinsically-safe digital sensors.
